Iftar table was organized with the participation of mothers of martyrs

On March 6, with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, "My son is a hero!" within the framework of the project, an event was organized on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan and March 8 - International Women's Day.

The iftar table was opened as part of the event that coincided with the holy month of Ramadan.

Mothers and family members of our martyrs from different regions of Azerbaijan participated in the event.

Leyla Aliyeva also participated in the iftar table together with the families of the martyrs and had a conversation with them.

The event was held as a tribute to the memory of our martyrs, who fought for the integrity of our lands, and as an expression of the state and society's care for their families.

At the event, the bravery of the Azerbaijan Army under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Ilham Aliyev, the heroism of the sons of the Motherland who were martyred for the territorial integrity of our country, prayers were recited for the souls of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and our martyrs, and the Almighty was asked to establish peace in the world and peace in our country.

Samaya Hashimova, the mother of the martyr Major General Polad Hashimov, the National Hero of Azerbaijan, speaking on behalf of the families of the martyrs, said that the families of the martyrs are always in the center of attention, and expressed her gratitude for the care and respect.

Later, well-known artistic figures of Azerbaijan performed.

Let us note that a series of events are organized within the framework of the "My father is a hero" and "My son is a hero" projects, in which our heroic sons who were martyred for the Motherland are commemorated, and the families they entrusted to us participate. Such events bring the families of martyrs together and make them feel that the state and the people of Azerbaijan are always with them. These events are an expression of attention and care for the families of the martyrs, respect for the memory of their heroic children, and support for the work done by the state in this direction.
