The restoration of the Alijan checkpoint on the Turkish-Armenian border is at the final stage

The restoration of the Alijan border crossing point on the Turkish-Armenian border is nearing completion.

According to "Yeşil Iğdır" newspaper, Iğdır Governor Fırat Taşolar visited the checkpoint on the Turkish-Armenian border, which has been closed since 1993, and inspected the reconstruction and repair works at the final stage.

The governor and his technical staff inspected the buildings and crossing roads located along the border and stressed that the work will be completed soon.
