MAMA "Mother Nature" international art exhibition opened in Tirana
MAMA "Mother Nature" international art exhibition was opened at the residence of the Prime Minister of Albania in Tirana.
Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva participated in the opening of the exhibition.
Speaking at the event, Leyla Aliyeva emphasized that the artists demonstrated the power, beauty and fragility of nature through the paintings, sculptures and installations in the exhibition. He noted that this exhibition is a perfect example of our art crossing the borders in order to protect nature.
Leyla Aliyeva, who gave information about the exhibition, expressed her satisfaction at being in a beautiful country distinguished by its spiritual richness and sincerity and said: "Azerbaijan and Albania are united by close friendship and deep relations that cross political borders. Our countries share the highest values such as humanism, kindness, dignity and mutual respect, which are greatly needed in the modern world."
He also noted that it was a great honor for him to present the works of Prime Minister Edi Raman and the well-known Albanian artist Arben Golemi at this exhibition, and he was very pleased with the participation of four artists from Baku today and the opportunity to share their positive experiences and give personal information about their creativity.
Leyla Aliyeva also spoke about the damage caused by humanity to nature and said: "Every year, 10 million hectares of forest areas are destroyed in the world. Humanity has destroyed 83 percent of wild animals and half of plants. Every year, 200 species of living things are removed from our planet, and 66 percent of the oceans are directly affected by the negative effects of human activity. The rich ecosystem of Azerbaijan is not left out of these processes. The level of the Caspian Sea has dropped significantly. Caspian seal, salmon and sturgeon amazing living species such as fish are in danger of disappearing".
Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama noted that he was honored to see the works of Leyla Aliyeva at the exhibition, which demonstrate the unity of nature and art. The Prime Minister said that this exhibition opened a new page in the friendship of the two countries and brought here the spirit of culture and creativity. Edi Rama said that every viewer will take a piece of colors and dreams with him during the month of the exhibition.
Then the guests got acquainted with the works displayed in the exhibition.
People's artist Elena Hagverdiyeva noted that Tirana creates a very beautiful and unforgettable impression, and drew attention to the fact that her work displayed at the exhibition is called "Inner Gardens". "In this composition, I have brought together carpet motifs and elements of wild nature. This work of art talks about the spiritual bonds that "grow" in the inner world of each of us," added the People's Artist.
Artist Nargiz Guliyeva, whose work was exhibited at the exhibition, said that she was honored to participate in the MAMA "Mother Nature" international art exhibition. He said that he depicted an African woman in the work presented here. "Since different cultures and national costumes have always attracted my attention, I have addressed this topic many times in my work. In this work, I portrayed an African mother," N. Guliyeva pointed out.
Noting that the works presented in the exhibition are dedicated to the mysterious world of microorganisms, the artist Elnara Nasirli said that she wants to convey to the audience that magnificent universe that can only be seen with a microscope and is hidden from our eyes. He said that he tried to demonstrate the infinite richness and complexity of this invisible world with the language of abstract forms.
Noting that he was proud to participate in this project, the artist Jeyhun Abdullayev said that his exhibited work is called "New life": "Here, the image of a pregnant woman is depicted. I have included images of nature in the background, because giving birth to a child is a new life. I believe that this project, which combines love for nature and art, will make an important contribution to the development of cultural relations between our countries."
