The research work co-authored by the (English speaking) teacher of the International Economics chair at UNEC Khatai Aliyev on the topic “To work much or little? The impact of tax and life satisfaction comfort on work motivation: on Continental and Eastern Europe sample” was published in the magazine “Economics and Sociology” (ISSN 2306-3459 Online, ISSN 2071-789X Print).
The article analyses the impact of tax and life satisfaction on work motivation using the econometric assesment methods within the framework of the time series and panel data analysis on the sample of the Continental Europe (France and Germany) and the Eastern Europe (Hungary and Estonia). The empirical results indicate that there is a negative dependence on the life satisfaction and work motivation in different country samples. In the countries, where the working hours are higher (Hungary and Estonia) the wealth is preferred than leasure. However, in the countries with low working hours (France and Germany) , this option is opposite, and people prefer to rest.
