The 21st Azerbaijan International Construction Exhibition; BakuBuild 2015, which marked the beginning of Caspian Construction Week, the 8th International Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Water Supply, Sanitary Ware, Environmental Technology, Swimming Pools and Renewable Energy Exhibition; AquaTherm Baku 2015 and the 8th Caspian International Protection, Security and Rescue Exhibition; CIPS Caspian 2015 opened in the Baku Expo Centre on the 21st of October.
Traditionally, the organizers of these three large-scale exhibitions are the British company ITE Group Plc and its partner Iteca Caspian LLC.
The opening ceremony of the Caspian Construction Week has brought together a number of important guests from different countries. The opening ceremony of Caspian Construction Week was attended by Niyazi Safarov; Deputy Minister of Economy and Industry of Republic of Azerbaijan, Dovletkhan Dovletkhanov; Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Town Planning and Architecture of Azerbaijan Republic, Rufat Mammadov; President of AZPROMO (Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation ), Mr Giampaolo Kutilo; Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Italy to Azerbaijan, Mr Luigi D'Aprea; Director General of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Azerbaijan, Mr Valerio Soldani; Director of the Italian pavilion, Mr Sanjay Rana; Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Azerbaijan, Aurora Tarruella; Consul for Economic and Commercial Affairs of the Embassy of Spain in Turkey, and Mr Edward Strachan; Executive Director of ITE Group Plc.
Speakers at the ceremony remarked on the important role that the exhibition plays in the development of the country’s construction industry, as well as the transformation of Azerbaijan’s modern infrastructure. They also stressed the importance of professional contacts and the exchange of experience between industrialists and businessmen of different countries.
The abundance of stands, as well as the design and variety of exhibits are what make these exhibitions so impressive. Azerbaijani companies account for half of all the participants. Germany, Italy, Iran, Spain, UAE, the Czech Republic and India are represented by collective national expositions. However, it is Italy’s stand that hosts the largest number of companies with 80 manufacturers and distributors from different regions of the country. Representatives of manufacturers from China, Russia, Ukraine, Singapore, Turkey and France have also set up their own intriguing expositions.
The range of products and services at the BakuBuild 2015 exhibition covers the entire spectrum of construction materials, appliances and interiors, which all exhibit the main trends of this year; originality and reliability. Visitors can appreciate the ceramics, decorative stone, marble, paints, windows and doors, roofing and flooring, furniture, street lighting, products for park landscaping, metal and bronze work and heavy construction equipment from leading manufacturers and distributors. The glass construction and glasswork exhibition will be used for the decoration of the exhibition. Additionally, compared with recent years, the furniture sector has grown considerably in size.
BakuBuild not only reflects the cutting-edge products within the industry, but also demonstrates long-term innovative solutions and trends for advanced development in the near future. The stands of the companies presenting new products and services are marked with a special sign reading ‘new product / new service’.
60 companies from Azerbaijan, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Italy, China, Russia, Turkey, Croatia, Switzerland, and the United Arab Emirates are represented at the Aqua-Therm Baku 2015 exhibition. The exhibition broadly presents pool and HVAC equipment, ventilation, heating / sewer systems, water filters, plastic pipes, fittings, radiators, boilers, water tanks, solar heaters, units for refrigeration, air ducts, ventilation channels, air hoses, gas filters, gas regulators, heat exchangers, and much more.
As the only international specialised security exhibition in the region, the Caspian International Protection, Security and Rescue Exhibition; CIPS Caspian 2015 presents the innovative solutions of companies from countries such as Azerbaijan, Turkey, Russia, Great Britain, Belarus, China, the UAE, the USA and Ukraine.
Traditionally, the exhibition is accompanied by a comprehensive business programme comprised of presentations, seminars and master classes. The six seminars from various international companies will be held alongside Caspian Construction Week. It is a chance for industry professionals to come together to discuss topics such as costs and profits in heavy equipment, the prospects of structural concrete, useful software solutions, and much more.
The BakuBuild exhibition is supported by the Ministry of Economy and Industry of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the State Committee for Town Planning and Architecture, the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs’ (Employers’) Organizations of the Azerbaijan Republic, as well as the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO).
