President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today inaugurated the Museum of State Symbols in Mingachevir.
The head of state was informed about the exhibits displayed at the museum.
It was noted that 9 sections were created in the exhibition hall of the Museum of State Symbols, the construction of which was completed in April this year. There are maps of Azerbaijan prepared by the Institute of History of the National Academy of Sciences, mannequins depicting medieval warriors, flags of medieval Azerbaijani states and khanates, coats of arms of 19th century Azerbaijani cities, ancient metal coins and paper money.
The museum's exhibits include military uniforms of Azerbaijani medieval soldiers, coats of arms of 19th century Azerbaijani cities, coats of arms and flags of the Azerbaijan SSR, ceremonial uniforms and battle flags of the Armed Forces, photos of national leader Heydar Aliyev and President Ilham Aliyev's inauguration, state symbols. sayings, postage stamps, orders, medals, honorary titles and badges are displayed.
A 200-seat summer stage has also been built in the area where the Museum of State Symbols is located.
President Ilham Aliyev was also informed about the reconstruction work being carried out in Dostlug and Nasimi parks in the city.
It was noted that comprehensive conditions have been created in both parks for the interesting organization of recreation for both residents and visitors of Mingachevir.
