An International Arms Control Inspection was once again conducted in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
The International Inspection Team led by the Kingdom of Norway, including 9 representatives from Denmark, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Spain, and the USA, conducted an inspection and evaluation of the "Specified Area" in the Combined Arms Army.
As part of the Treaty on Conventional Armed Forces in Europe, the number of battle tanks, armored fighting vehicles, artillery, and mortar mounts was checked, as well as the Training Educational Center and other buildings on the territory of military units were inspected.
Upon completion of the inspection, representatives of the International Inspection Team and military units were awarded a gift. During the visit, guests visited the sightseeing attractions of the autonomous republic, including the “Khan's Palace” State Historical and Architectural Museum, the Momine-Khatun Mausoleum and the Open-Air Museum Complex.
