Switzerland, through its Agency for Development and Cooperation, funded the transcription and publication of musical notes for tar and piano. The book displays very famous pop and jazz pieces of the 20th century in a transcription for tar and piano. The book will be incorporated into the curriculum of the National Conservatory. This new musical book was presented to the public with a concert, where prominent tar player Shahriyar Imanov played pieces from the book on tar, accompanied by Tural Rafael on the piano. Some pieces were also accompanied with a dance group. The event took place at the National Conservatory.
Mr. Siyavush Karimi, the rector of the National Conservatory, and Mrs. Simone Haeberli, Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy of Switzerland, greeted the public and opened the event. Each piece performed by the musicians was eagerly applauded by the audience
