At Baku Expo Centre the 8th Azerbaijan International Education Exhibition, Education 2014, and the 8th Azerbaijan International Career Exhibition, Career 2014, opened their doors. At the opening ceremony of Education and Career, Deputy Minister for Education of Azerbaijan Republic Jeyhun Bayramov gave a speech in which he noted that one of the most important rules of social development is the need for the complete and high-quality education of the younger generation. In order to develop the state’s human capital, government, private businesses and educational institutions must join forces. The current exhibition offers a good platform for this by attracting public attention to the current education projects in Azerbaijan. Emphasizing the role and importance of the current exhibitions, Mr Bayramov expressed his confidence that the exhibitions will continue to display the potential of the education system in the country, as well as generate interest and willingness to cooperate with international educational institutions.

In his speech, Executive Director of Iteca Caspian LLC Farid Mammadov observed that the exhibitions have greatly expanded in terms of the number of participating countries and, overall, the number of participants and the exhibition space have grown by 20%. Mr Mammadov also expressed his gratitude to the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
